Why is this page here

The primary goal of the work that I do is to assist in education. My first free sample set was released in order to assist organ students with a way of practising at home. The MIDI electronics which I designed was to enable people building their own consoles to do it very inexpensively. The software that I have wrote has been to further my own education in understanding signals while at the same time to give myself and others more powerful noise reduction software to use with sample sets. All of this software is available free of charge on this website.

Future goals include:

  • The development of a free, graphical sound editor primarily designed for processing samples. It would have built in recording and editing functions as well as my powerful noise reduction and looping software - as well as other useful filters and effects for sample preparation.
  • A major update to my MIDI hardware design (almost complete) which will be much more powerful and flexible.
  • More interesting and historical organ sample sets from Australia.

I do not intend to make any money directly from the tools available from this website. I do however spend hundreds of hours in research and development. Donating is totally optional, but if you find this website helpful, it will help with my general living expenses and the costs of purchasing of new equipment when needed.

It is important to me that you do not see donating as a guarantee that more things will happen on this website. They probably will, but I get busy at periods through the year and there are times when it is simply not possible for me to work. Please do not associate a "for task x" with a donation.

Donations are processed through the very safe PayPal service.

Please pop me an email if you have any questions regarding donating.

Thankyou.
